Hornworms (Manduca sexta) are appealing to most exotic pets as feeders and easy to keep.

Cost per worm

Pods are sold as either Small, Medium, or Large. These sizes are not the size of the pods themselves but the size the worms will grow to based on the amount of food provided to them in the pods. The number of worms per pod will determine if you will receive a 16oz or 32oz pod. Your worms will be shipped extra small with enough food for the quantity you choose to reach your desired size.

Hornworms (Manduca sexta) Care Instructions

As soon as your hornworms arrive be sure to put the pod upside down so the food is at the top and the lid is at the bottom. If there is a lot of worm feces accumulated, take off the lid and shake it out. Keep the pod(s) upside down so that the worms do not eat the feces as this will make your worms unhealthy.

If your worms have grown to the size that you want them during shipping, keep them in a cool well-lit area, no cooler than 50° F

However, if they have not reached the desired size yet, keep them in a warm room, no more than 80° F, and allow for a daylight/night cycle.

Shipping of Live Feeders or Breeders

We ship all live feeders/breeders on Mondays Only, unless arrangements have been made ahead of time with management. Orders must be received by Sunday at Noon EST.

If your temps are below 40° F or above 80° F You must choose "Hold for Pickup" for Live Arrival Guarantee!
