Fruit Fly Culture D. Melanogaster Wingless

Fresh: These cultures will ship 1-5 days old and will need an additional 9-13 days* to start producing flies to feed your animals.

Developing: These cultures will ship at 5-10 days old and will need an additional 4-11 days* to start producing flies to feed your animals.

Producing: These cultures will ship at 11-12 days old and will need no additional days to start producing flies to feed your animals. It's important that you start using these cultures within a day or two so that over population doesn't occur and cause the culture to crash.

* The duration listed for developing times will depend on what temperatures you keep your culture(s) at.

Keep your Wingless d. melanogaster in a room with a regular light cycle and temperatures between 60°F and 78°F. The developing time will be determined by the temperature you choose to keep them at, warmer temperatures will develop faster than lower temperatures.

Shipping of Live Feeders or Breeders

We ship all live feeders/breeders on Mondays Only, unless arrangements have been made ahead of time with management. Orders must be received by Sunday at Noon EST.

If your temps are below 40° F or above 70° F You must choose "Hold for Pickup" for Live Arrival Guarantee!
